Improve the environment to save the coral

The famous Great Barrier Reef in Australia has gained widespread attention recently as it faces a major crisis - the disappearance of coral reefs.

More than 75% of the world's coral reef species live in the Coral Triangle.

 

The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change said that reefs are experiencing "long-term degradation" due to albinism and have an impact on ecosystem services, including fish. The World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) said more than 120 million people in the area are dependent on marine resources for survival.
